Phantoms Roleplay
He is known as Phantom. Sometimes you will see a flick of an ear, or hear the swish of his tail. But you're not afraid. You know that he will help you. He has helped many horses before you. He is kind, but shy. He doesn't like anyone to see him. He hides easily in the shadows with his pure black coat. But one day, you will reach through that black armor of fake-fierceness to see the one horse that has rescued others. It is time.

Raven hears Phantom's call. "I......I can't." She trots briskly down the right tunnel, getting the message. After a few right turns, she realizes she is going deeper. Then, the tunnel curves sharply to the left without a fork, and she follows, hoping she was right. Finally she finds a cavern with a small pool of water. She finds a small trail and takes it to the top. There-this is it! She finds herself in another cave with a pool of water, but this time the mouth is wide open, stepping out to the ledge. Steep tails swirl below, and the colors of the setting sun seem to radiate through the cave and the tunnel she came up through. Thank you.... She sends the mind message back. Ravencall stands in a moment of silence, her eyes glimmering. Finally she lowers them, and rests her muzzle beside the water. She lays down and sighs. I have found the place. Her eyes blink open in the dark, to the west the moon is setting. The stars shine bright. I must have slept for a bit. A small bit of light near the horizon indicates it has barely been like this for more than an hour. There was still the most of the night to go. Suddenly, mane flaring out, a horse appears. The silvery gray mare dips her head. "Welcome, Raven." She doesn't move her mouth, yet the voice seems to reach Raven's ears somehow. "What is it you seek?" Suddenly three other horses appeared beside her. One was fiery, like lava. The second was foamy white, like of the sea. The third was a bay, with a pale, light, blue jewel on her forehead, and a mane and tail of the scent of fall leaves and sunshine. The bay steps forwards. "We are your ancestors. But that doesn't mean you belong here. This place of jagged rocks is a place that has fallen. For you do not belong on the mountains, with harsh winds and cold. You do not belong with the special stars here, Raven. Wolfspirit is long gone. If it is your brother you seek, that is different. He belongs in these skies." Raven bows her head. "You wouldn't understand, but I need help. Darkmist, although I'd love to see him, I think can help me. Please, just let me talk-" She pauses. "-and you! You came to me in my dreams, you can help me." The mares look at each other. "You are expecting higher than what we can give you. We don't know as much. As you wish, my dear." The bay, the fiery, and the white mares leave them. A moment later, the starry outline of a colt appears and walks towards her. When he touches noses with Raven, he suddenly fills in and his dark gray coat shows. "Darkmist, please help!" The colt steps back. "What is it, exactly, that you want?"
