Ms. Jenna- "Well," *she says, looking at Reese.* "I think dressage (or advanced movements, at least) would be good. You," *she says, pointing at Reese.* "Said you need practice. Allie and Sylvia," *she continues, waving her hand towards them.* "Could stand to improve as well. It," *she says, looking sharply at Sylvia.* "Could help with reining. And Elizabette and Lani," (Even though i don't think Lani's here yet) "I need to see how you ride. I want to pair you up with lesson horses next lesson." *Looks around at the students.* "But first walk and trot them around to warm them up. And Reese, keep an eye out for Star. He can be mischievous."
Allie- *Nudges Faith gently and Faith starts walking.*
Sylvia- *Realizes she has been holding her reins in one hand, corrects her mistake, and mimics Allie.* |

| Reese- I nod. "Sounds good." I move Star into a walk behind Elizabette. I lengthen Star's stride and try and pull his head down. His neck arches and his walk stretches out. "Good boy." I pat his neck and we continue. Soon Star fights to get his head up. "Easy Star." I say, I circle him tightly and try again. |

Allie- "Uh..." *Looks down at her legs and gently squeezes Faith. Smiles triumphantly and then sees Ms. Jenna frowning at her.*
Sylvia- *Shifts her weight slightly in the saddle and moves her feet a little. Rose starts to trot, but because of her shift she slips sideways. Rose keeps trotting while she grabs the mane and boosts herself back up.* |
