Snow I land beside Vexar and stare at him. When he finally notices, I say "Oh my gosh! You really don't know." I blow out a bit of frost breath out of exasperation. "Wow, I mean, she practically SHOUTS her feelings at you." I stop, "Well, if she's not gonna tell you, neither am I."
RM- My idea is that Snow knows that Aildral has a crush on Vexar. But he doesn't really know. |

Venom-*he dips into a faster, twirling dive. At the last moment he flares his wings out to soften his landing and alights on the edge of the cliff. He moves out of Sirene's way and deposits his fish on the meager prey pile* Queen Harmony may still be out, *he comments to Sirene, hearing her wingbeats as she nears the cliff after him* I don't see anyone.
Vexer-*he blinks* I beg your pardon?
RM-Eh? I thought Celest had a crush on Vexer. Maybe Snow thinks that Aildral has a crush on him instead? |

Sirene- *she lands softly beside Venom and folds in her wings* I don't know, she normally doesn't leave her egg alone for a long time. *she glances at the Queen's cave, and sets down one of her fish then swallows the other*
Aildral- *she flies farther away from the others and lands in a nearby clearing, she walks over to a nearby giant oak tree, a small carving with a strange language was written on the trunk* I still don't understand, Mother and Father. *she sighs, running a claw over her parent's handwriting* Why would you leave a secret message, right before. . . .right before your last battle. *she asks sadly* Oh, great Aildral, now you're talking to yourself, this stupid message has made you crazy.

Celest- I don't usually go on perimeter checks so maybe don't ask me. You must have an idea though. Queen Harmony sends you out on perimeter checks all the time. *I sniff around a rock in a feeble way of trying to look like I'm doing something* Well, don't quit me word for word but I don't think this rock is that much of a threat.
Harmony- I return form hunting with two boars and a mountain goat. I dump them on the far side of the prey pile and shake out my wings. I decide to go down to the lake for a drink. |

Venom-*he rubs his wings together with a rasping sound* Looks like we might have to go out and find her if she doesn't show. *Harmony lands and deposits her prey* Well, speak of the devil. No offense, Your Majesty. *he slinks up beside her, swishing his tail with a fluid serpentine movement* Are you going out again?
Vexer-Hmm. *he considers the rock with a frown* I dunno. It looks pretty malicious to me. *he taps it with the tip of his tail* All we look for on perimeter checks are signs of enemy movement--footprints, disturbed grass and undergrowth, trees with the bark scraped off. If you catch an unfamiliar scent, that could mean something. And naturally if you actually see an enemy dragon that's kind of bad too.

| Vexer-If you see an ice dragon, it's a safe bet to assume it's an enemy. No offense of course. Sea dragons are usually enemies too. Naturally you want to call out and have any strange dragons identify themselves, unless they're obviously an invasion force. *he gives her an odd look* Are you all right? |

Harmony- No Venom I'm going back to my cave. I don't like to leave my egg alone for very long. *I give him a smile and fly off to my cave*
Celest- I don't think she's okay. *I give Snow a look* I'm pretty sure something's wrong with her. Ooh! Snow you could fool the other icy dragons and take them to Queen Harmony! She can take them as prisoner or kill them. Usually prisoner. *I smile like that isn't an evilly brilliant plan at all* |
