I didn't see that post, Moonlight. It wasn't there when I posted mine.
Hetty:*follows Kat to the field, and doesn't see when she faints, but Papa does.
Papa:Kat!*whoas the horses, and drops the plow before rushing over to Kat. After a short examination, he carries her to the house.
Mama:Oh, dear! What happened to Kat?*Papa lays the girl on the couch just as she starts coming to*Kat, whats wrong?*Mama takes Kat's shoes and socks off, and silently gasps when she sees the cut, clamping a hand over her mouth*When did you get this cut?*eyes widen when she says today.*It sure moved in fast?*shakes her head at Kat's puzzled look, and motions Papa out of the room.
Papa:*walks to the kitchen, and says to his wife*What moved in fast?
Mama:Infection. The could lose her leg! |

Mama:No, Lavender, you can't come in.*wipes away a tear as she ushers her daughter out of the room.*I don't want you to see this.
Hetty:*sits around outside, waiting to be let inside. |

girls as they walk past her into the house.
