Thanks, Buety. And Jane, I agree. I think an adult should be there, as well.

thanks TS and everyone

I am sooooo concerned that someone might get hurt. Giving advice here is tricky because I cannot always clearly visualize the problem or action that will work to fix a misbehaving horse from what people write.

Flower, Definatly have someone around when your working with your horse, especially if you're training or riding.

I agree JC, If I could see what the horse does, it's easier to fix the problem. Although a horse that behaves is a safer horse that acts up.

Mollie, I don't see why a jump standard wouldn't work. Just don't turn too tightly, or you risk having your horse step on the borrotm of the standard. Grooming would also be a good way to do something enjoyable that you and your horse enjoy. The horse especially enjoys it if there's treats involved!;) I looked up games to play with horses, and all I found was stuff that was not safe, or it was a major group thing, and it seemed like more fun for the person, and hard work for the horse. All I could tell you is to be creative when you're thinking of stuff, and steer clear of playing tag with your horse, it might seem cute and fun, but a horse is much bigger than a dog, and could accidently hurt you.
