Lucy: dad Lilly and I will bed stalls
Lilly: Lucy lets go
Lucy Lets start with the Stallion barn
30 minutes later
Lucy: Next is Mares
30 minutes later
Lucy: Next is training
1 hour later
Lucy: Next is young horses
1 hour later
Lucy: all done all the stalls are beded and the waters full
Lilly: wants next
Lucy: Lets go ask my dad
The two kids head to Eli’s office
Eli: Girls
Lucy: Dad
Lilly: Uncle Eli
Eli: all done with the stalls
Lucy: Yes dad
Eli: nice
Lucy: wants next?
Eli: Are the Kennels ready?
Lilly: Yes
Eli: Lilly go Saddle up Pride Lucy give her a hand meet you at the Main Track
The girls go to Stall 5 in the training barn.
Lilly: goes to the tack room and Gets her tack. Comes back
Lucy: Clips Pride in the cross ties
Lilly: Runs a brush over her back and picks out her feet
Lucy: Pulls the saddle pad on.
Lilly: puts on the saddle and makes sure its tight.
Lucy: Lilly go get your helmet
Lilly: Runs to the tack room gets her Helmet and comes back.
Lucy: Leads pride to the mounting block
Lilly: Leaps on Pride
Lucy: Lead Pride to the main track
Lilly: See Eli waiting at the gate
Lucy: Leads the mare over to Eli
Eli: Trot her around once and then we will go train on the Steeplechase track
Lilly: ride Pride on to the track. Waits a second then starts trotting
Lucy: Looking good Lilly
Lilly: She feels great
Eli: Looking good
Lilly: finishes her lap and rides over to Eli
Eli: Nice ride
Lilly: rides Pride over to the Steeplechase track.
Eli: work her a lap then the new horses are coming.*
Lilly: Canter Pride on to the track. Puts the mare in to gallop sowers over the first fence. *Good girl* she whispers as the fly around the course. Pulls pride up and walks over to Eli
Eli: Cool her down and Put her away.*
Lilly: walks Pride tells she is cool and Stables her.
Lucy: *helps put away Pride*
