six inches, I think, if I remember correctly. Anyway, most jockeys are around five foot three or four inches. I wish I could grow up to be a jockey. But my dad says I'll be too tall, so, poof, there goes that dream. |

I do not know where you read the height limit. From what I read, there is no limit on height. It is just weight. Tall people just have to be thinner, which is hard. You have to keep your weight UNDER 110 pounds, if you read Dick Francis books he talks about the ongoing struggle to keep his weight down.
