Horse Behaviour
I would make your horse either not quite perfect or a bit naughty. I like to add in small bits like they don't like jumping poles (like Torus my real pony) or Bertie my other pony who is REALLY scared of ditches. I also love to make my ponies loving and you will get more points for saying, it's okay boy/girl *patts horse*, instead of, *whips horse* bad boy/girl.

Tack and Tacking Up
I like to make my tack nice and bright like My saddle has little daisies on it and a pretty browband is always nice to describe like: My browband is hot pink with lilac stripes down the sides and little ribbons flowing from the side that are a dark gold with blue gems stuck onto them. tacking up is quite easy and I think the most important bit is bit because some horses don't like to open their mouths.

Paces
I prefer to do a bit of showing off so do research your moves like for the tennese walking horse you don't want to say they shuffle and appalosas running walk. never get the passage and the piaffe mixed up bacause even though they are similar you may need a more experienced breed like the Hanoverian to cope with the strenght needed and for SRS moves (The Spanish Riding School the one in Vienna, austria which only uses Lippizaners) like the levade and Capriole (levade is a special rear and the levade is like a jump whithout a jump!) you will need a Lippizaner.

Horses
Don't include just the colour include facial marks, ermine marks (black marks on socks), there are loads of different types of white leg marking so, sock/fetlock, stocking, coronet and pastern.

Hope you found this useful and I can't do any more so I will do one on languadge (I can't spell it) and how to describe the horse's movements!

here are 4 top tips to the perfect ride:) enjoy:
1.
DONT hold you breath when you are up next it will only make you and your horse nervous but exitable

2. try you hardest so what if you dont win its the taking part that counts.

3.always pre write your messages it wil save loads of time

4.if your horse if a bit frisky/exitable get off him and then blow up his nose it will make him feel at ease and will calm him down alot

well those were my 4 top tips to a great lesson/ride/competiton :)

Hey all! I'm PonySaysNeigh, thoug some of you used to know me as famoushorse101. My tips-

If you're in a jumping class, try something like this:

Spirit approached the first jump with a even pace, ears pricked and alert. After a precise distance, we landed cleanly on the other side.

Flat class (trot)
Spirit's transition was right on cue, her glistening hooves flicking out and hitting the arena floor with determind steps. Her muscles bunched with every step.

Be my pal?

try your best remember if you don't win it doesn't matter and the most important thing is you won your ponies trust and shows how much you improved as a rider
