Lauren: I wander into the tack room, I look at Dreamer's Tack. It's a old set of English tack, It's used but still useable. The bridle is a brown tinted stitched with a D-ring bit. And the saddle pad is a dusty white jumping pad, All hanged on the green saddle hanger. I grab the tack and head over to Dreamer's stall. She is grazing at her grain. I begin to carefully tack her up making sure she doesn't flinch from the weight of the saddle. Once she is tacked up I headed over to the empty pasture to start to warm her up. I mount dreamer with my old white T-shirt with paint stains, my tan riding breeches, my black rubber boots, and my black English helmet. Once I mounted up, I squeezed my heels and gripped on the reins. Dreamer flicked her ears back, angerly. I calm my nerves and Squeeze again. She stood there hanging her head low. I looked in my saddle bag and pulled out some of my training English spurs. I put them on my rubber boots. I urged again but this time I was thrown off. Dreamer gallops away into the pasture tense and neighing angerly at my suspense. | Crazybit & Lily |

Lauren: I walk around frantically in the pasture. I reached over to Dreamer's reins and finally I stopped her. I leaded Dreamer out of the pasture. And into her stall. I untacked her and put a cooling blanket on her, so that her sweat would cool her down. | Crazybit & Lily |

**RM The bit and bridle that Crazybit described is pretty mild. Ditto the old English saddle. Did you see the latest article in Equus that talked about how riding in a treeless saddle puts damaging pressure on a horses back? Might want to snag a copy and read it...** | Jane Crandal & JB |
