RM: I'm ready for Felicity to come down! :)
Shelby: "Okay Shadow, come on." *Shelby tacks Shadow up and leads him out of the barn to the outdoor arena. She mounts.* "Okay, all ready!" *she says to Katie* "We'll just wait for Felicity and we'll get started." | lydagdolllover & Captain Kirk |

Shelby: "Okay, great! We'll start by doing some simple low log jumps. I'll demonstrate." *Rides up the first jump at a fast canter. She and Shadow jump and land with thump on the other side. She does the other three with ease and rides Shadow out of the ring at a walk* "Katie, why don't you go first and then Felicity can go next?" | lydagdolllover & Captain Kirk |

katie: i set Pepsi at a trot, trot over the first jump, when i come to the second jump i lean up close to Pepsi, keeping my heels down and elbows in, then once we land i sit back up and guide Pepsi beautifully through the third and fourth jump:)
i come up besides shelby and beam proudly:)
then i give Felicity encouragment and pat Pepsi lovingly. | jjpals & Dynamo |

Shelby: *claps again* "Nice job as well, Felicity! I agree with Katie, you did a great job with the speed control. Okay, now we can do some harder jumps. Does everyone here know how to do corner jumps?" | lydagdolllover & Captain Kirk |
2014-12-11 23:38:37 | |
Shelby: "Okay, we'll learn how to do that then." *sets up corner jump and after she is done setting up two she comes back out of the ring*
"Okay, so you have to get as close to the narrow apex as possible but still far enough that the horse knows to jump. If you aim for the wider section, it could result in a stop or run-out."
RM: Sorry if I'm getting this wrong! XD | lydagdolllover & Captain Kirk |

Katie: I think I do, but could you explain? | jjpals & Dynamo |
