Only one Earth. Vets contribute highly everyday to the ecosystems on the planet. They spay and neuter animals which will prevent unwanted breeding/ inbreeding/ or a bad gene pool. Some vets and shelters have feral cat projects where they capture, spay or neuter, and let the animal go back into the wild. They also give rabies shots to wild animals depending on the vet.
