Wow, I actually managed to post something without it being gruesome! I hope. Actually I probably ruined it with the word 'gruesome'. I think I should shut up. ***admin note -- I eat poached (homegrown) eggs and steamed veggies for breakfast every morning. | Mmm, eggs. Maybe I could mail you some because our chickens lay too many. Houdina is setting and likes to bite my fingers if I check for new eggs under her.
***ADMIN NOTE --- When my hens want to do that I usually start with their cubbyhole in the nesting box and hold the empty egg basket over their head like a huge helmet. That acts as a shield to let me grab the eggs from underneath with my other hand. *** | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

| Maybe I'll try that. I don't usually mind it when the chickens bite unless they're jumping up to bite and in that case whatever they're biting is pulled down with them. Which can be considerably painful. | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

| Wow Hunters, that's REALLY awesome! And I do that to admin! Sometimes we get the eggs and eat them for breakfast and make Omelets out of them. And leave some to hatch and then sell to people to eat and do the same thing. Do you do that?

| We have sixteen chickens, counting roosters. With the chicks added, that makes twenty-seven chickens in all. We have so many eggs that they're coming out our ears! My dad sells them to co-workers sometimes and we sell them to people at church. | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

| That's so cool Nat!!! Right now I'm @ my ranch. (The boarding stable I boarded Garnet at). I'm going to start loping and practice on Garnets Posture and 'Beauty' for the next show! BTW, I WON THE SHOW ON THE 28TH!!! Garnet got a blue ribbon and a gold tropey! I wish that happened all the time! I was really nervous going in front of those people.
