(Okay, so I just got the hugest grin ever when I saw that you said "ain't" :)
I was NOT asking you to adopt Gwen, have no fear. Just to care fo her while she is here.
And although I would never even pretend to, people DO send horses there! I don't like that idea, but I do agree it's better than a horse starving in an abandoned barn. Sometimes an old horse gets sent there because a person really loves the horse and knows that it is too old to sell and they can't afford caring for it. I call that LOVE. They don't want to horse to be abused or starving, so they send it there. I would rather put one down, but if they REALLY love their horse, that would be really hard. |

| The horse that Lady is Bred to is owned by a person who takes very good care him, so we do not have that horse at our shelter. He is grey with black mane, tail, nose and legs and his name is Divine Lord. If it's a girl we'll name her Lady Divine, Diva for short, and if it's a boy it'll be Lord Vere, Lord for short. I checked with the vet, and from the X-rays it's a girl but that could be wrong. |
