| Alia:Without much leg, Streak bursts into a fast canter.I approach the first jump, a vertical.3,2,and clear. We head towards the next jump, the sharks teeth.3,2,and clear. Now the triple. 3,2, clear,3,2, clear,3,2, and clear.The wall is next.Streak tries to have even strides, but he overstrides right before he jumps.He almost stops and launches with wobbliness over the jump.Clear. We head towards the fence and Streak is over it and....clear.I steer him towards the last jump, an oxer put on a corner.This was tricky, because I had to get the strides right.6,5,4,3,2, and jump! Streak lifts and tucks his legs as close as possible to his body.We fly over the 4 foot jump. Finally, we reach the finish line. |
