Jump class 3 is next. There are two straight-poles when you come in, left to an oxer, then straight to a cross-pole. Nearing the finish line, there are three straight poles in a row with little space in between them. Watch out for that. Chelsea and Rose Briar are next. GO! | Horse Gentler & West Australian | 2012-05-10 13:58:19 | | *I cheer for Alia and Streak, Rose Briar standing beside me.* | chelsea2 & Irish | 2012-05-10 21:15:38 | | Alia:I smile at everybody and then head off to prepare for my next class. | Alexi Noelle & Mountain Sky | 2012-05-11 00:41:26 | | *I mount up onto Rose Briar, lightly landing in the saddle.
My white breeches the same snow white as her coat. My black coat and boots the same shade as the tack, as black and shinny as midnight.
I walk her into the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
RRIINNGG
I gently squeeze Rose Briar's sides, she leaps forward into a canter, her tail raised behind her.
I gently squeeze again, going up into two-point as Rose Briar tucks her front feet, and pushing off strongly with her back feet. She lands lightly on the other side, picking up the canter with her left foot.
I gently squeeze again, rising into two point again, heels down, reaching forward to give Rose Briar her head as she hops over the jump.
I gently pull and release on the left rein, turning her to the left.
I rise rise into two point, giving her her head.
Rose Briar pushes off with her powerful back legs, I move with her as she reachs over the jump, her white legs tucked neatly underher, unfolding as she lands on her black hooves, to keep cantering on to the next jump.
The same thing happens again on this one. She leaps over it, a time in the world when it feels like I can fly, but all to soon it's over and we land again, cantering on to the next jump.
I gently squeeze Rose Briar's sides, she tries to swirve, I gently push my leg into her side, telling her she can't turn.
She leaps over the first jump, landing on her feet, she tucks her front feet under her to push off again, landing on that side, tucking and pushing off, to soar over that jump.
Her silky white tail flowing after her, her jumps powerful yet smooth, and flowing.
I pet her, when we are out, telling her how good she did. | chelsea2 & Irish | 2012-05-11 21:17:06 | | Lucy: i strat geting Star ready | Starwalker123 & Star | 2012-05-12 00:54:35 | | Rose Briar REALLY impressed the judges! They said she was the prettiest horse they had ever seen! Congradulations, Chelsea, they gave you a blue for an excellent round!
Scavanger Hunt class is ready, so you can have a short break. Here is how you do the scavanger hunt:
Pick up the items on the five barrels. Each time you pick one up, drop it in the barrel at the start. Here is the order in which you need to get them:
whip, carrot, water ballon, helmet, apple
