Lucy: I swing off Outlaw. I unbridle him and put him in the pen
Back At The Barn
Toby: I tack up tossing my stuff on Con’s pack saddle and mounting Watermelon. I head down to the river and trot in to camp.
Moon River Camp
Lucy: I run up to Toby “Glad you could make it.â€
Toby: I swing off Watermelon
Lucy: “ I’d hobble Watermen and put Con in the pen.â€
Toby: “Ok.â€
Macy: trots after the group
Lucy: I grab my spare halter and recatch my horse. Macy nickers and prances in place “Jenny Macy followed us.†I call as I let her go in the pen
Toby: I untack Con and Watermelon. I let Con out with the others in the pen then I hobble Watermelon
Lucy: I lay out the saddle pad’s off Con, Outlaw and Watermelon as a bed

Sollux: I was almost done filling the water tank. I just needed to get this last bucket over there. I was almost there when I tripped over an exposed root. Water went everywhere. Unfortunately, I landed in a pile of horse manure. I screamed like a little girl and felt like crying as I heard the hysterical laughter of everyone else. I looked over to Equius to see if he was going to help me, but he was laughing, too. I felt the anger boil up inside of me like a volcano. I marched over and yelled at him to quit.
Equius: Being yelled at by Sollux was totally uncalled for. "Hey! What was that for!?" I yelled. Then, it spiraled out of control and basically became a full-out brawl. |

| Jenny: *I laugh when Sullux falls in Manure, but get stern when they start fighting* Hey. You two. Quit. That. Now. Or I'll dunk you both in the river. And if you keep acting immature like this you'll both be assigned to cleaning out the hay feeding areas by HAND. And let me tell you, sixty horses produce a LOT of manure over winter when they mostly stand in the same place for 3 to 4 months. |

Equius: "Sorry." I said. I truly was sorry. All of a sudden, I decided that a nice ride was in order. "Sollux, we're going on a trail ride. Groom and tack your horse, and we'll be off." I said. Sollux glared at me, but he got up and walked over to Ryu, who was bucking and rearing up. I shrugged. It was his problem, not mine. I walked over to Miki. She greeted me with a happy whinny. I smiled as I began to groom her and saddle her.
Sollux: Ugh. I feel so bad about what I did. But there's no taking it back. I stared at the ground as I walked over to Ryu. He was going totally insane, and a wave of fear struck me. I could be killed by an animal that size! I decided to swallow my fear and walk over to the horse. All of a sudden, he stopped and stared at me. "Yeah, yeah, you're a wild animal, whatever." I muttered. But then something surprising happened. The horse walked up to me, and wrapped me in a horsey hug. At first, I was scared that the beast was trying to suffocate me, but then I wriggled free of the hug and got my grooming equipment. I absentmindedly brushed the horse's neck. By the time he was tacked up and ready to go, he had turned back into his ornery self. |
