| that's really sad star, WE GOT DUCKS!!!!!!! I am so exited to show them... um, the ducks are wild I just found out!!! Any tips on taming a duck, like in 2 weeks?

| Our fourteen chicks are prospering! Except today when we put them out and got 'flash-flooded' which means it rained really hard for about ten minutes and then stopped, leaving the yard really, really wet. Turns out mama had tried to lead her munchkins to safety but they tried to go over the fence to late when their wings were already too wet. I found them all in a wet pile and we took them in under a heat lamp and blow drier. They're fine. |  Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

| Oh Wyandottes are beautiful, Starwalker. What color are yours? We used to have Silver Laced Wyandottes. They were sweet hens and good layers. I would love to get some Golden Laced Wyandottes one of these days. |  EagleGirl & Deerslayer |

| That chicken deserves a bit of quiet time in a cage. . .usually if you put the mean one in a cage for a short while it will go down in pecking order a few spaces and will get knocked off its high horse.
