| "How about the second hole for the cross rails." I say. Koda hops off and I walk off to the barn leading Nemo. When I get to the barn I quickly untack Nemo and groom him. I put him in the west paddock and I find Snippy, and groom and tack him, then lead him out to the jumping ring. I lead Snippy over to Koda and hand her the rains. I retrieve Knight and the we mount up again. "Ok, so first just walk him around, let him sniff the jumps and look at them. Ok" |

| After I finish with the jumps. I see Darian walk out with Snippy. I hop on him and let him sniff the jumps and look at them a bit. I say "I think I'm going to trot him around a few times so I can get a feel for him." I trot him around for a while and get used to his strides. Meanwhile, Darian also follows me around the jumping ring. I then say "I'm ready to go I think. Do you want to jump first or would you rather I go first?" |

| "That is good." I say as Koda moves Snips into a trot. "I will go first, and demonstrate in which order the jumps will go," Then I pause. "Actually I will just do the first jump. You can to." I find a good spot to start, and say "The jumps are small enough to trot over, but I will canter any ways. You can choose." I ask Knight to walk, then trot, and then canter, I look at the jump, and adjust Knights direction so we are perfectly lined up with the middle of the jump. A foot or two away from the jump, I go into two point position, and Knight leaps over the jump. I slow him to a walk and then praise him. I turn to Koda, "Ok, your turn." |
