****The Saddle Club****
For all Saddle Club crazy people!Stevie walks into the arena with Rainbow in a clean,oiled,saddle,her white roma saddle pad,and her beautiful leather bridle.Stevie has on a big black helmet on with her hair back in a bun.She has tall black boots and tan breeches with a white shirt and a black over-coat.She enters the arena.She walks to the mounting block,puts her left foot in the stirup and swings herself up straight in the saddle.She makes
the stirup her size and sits in the saddle straight.Stevie tapped her heels againest Rainbow's sides and Rainbow walked on.Stevie asked Rainbow to trot and soon they were into a nice,steady,trot.Stevie asked Rainbow to canter and next they were cantering at the pace swiftly and beautifully.Stevie saw the first jump so she sat up high in her saddle in jumping position,shorted her reins,and they soared over the first jump.Good girl Rainbow!Stevie says and gives the mare a little pat.They were still cantering nice and smooth.They were at the next jump and Stevie again,sat up in her saddle,shortend her reins and sat up in jumping position,and flew over the jump!2 more now Rainbow!I think we could do good!Stevie says.But Zoey did REALLY good.I am proud of her.Stevie turned at the corner and sat up in jumping position,shortend her reins and sailed over the 3rd jump.1 more Rainbow!Finally,Stevie saw the last jump.Stevie sat up high as the sky in her saddle,shortend her reins again and cleared the last jump perfectly!!!Stevie slowed down to a trot then a walk then halted.Good girl Rainbow,I am so proud of you.Stevie dismounted and said Good job Zoey,you did really good.Stevie smiled at her and kissed Rainbow on the muzzle. |
