Phantoms Roleplay
He is known as Phantom. Sometimes you will see a flick of an ear, or hear the swish of his tail. But you're not afraid. You know that he will help you. He has helped many horses before you. He is kind, but shy. He doesn't like anyone to see him. He hides easily in the shadows with his pure black coat. But one day, you will reach through that black armor of fake-fierceness to see the one horse that has rescued others. It is time.

Ravencall briefly nods. But, as if hypnotized, her eyes glaze. She faintly remembers that day as a filly. It had been after he had helped her find safety when her mother left her alone and followed her father's trail. *Ravencall steps lightly forward. Her mane has grown longer, and she walks playfully by the stream. Suddenly, she gasps and glances around at the tree shadows. She almost sees the Phantom. "Don't be afraid! Please, you helped me. Come out, and play! I know you're there. I've known that for ages, now. You've been watching over me, and I thank you for that." The black filly whose coat hasn't roaned out yet shudders suddenly, sending water droplets flying. She tilts her head, puzzled. Finally she speaks, "I understand you want to be alone like me, and I respect that. It's okay if you don't want to come out." She turns and trots away.* Ravencall shakes her head to clear the flashback. She turns back to the other two horses. Seeing they are a little further now from her border, she relaxes and decides to go for a run. She bursts out into the meadow at a full run, sending the singing morning birds flying, and heads towards the pines which are very close together. She squeezes through them, the gaps are just big enough. Ravencall glances at the sky above her, she is in a clearing. She slowly pricks her ears, and the flutter of a lonely bird flying away in fear catches her attention. A couple of crows fly over with their raucous calls, and then she still waits. After a while, the quiet is now nearly unbearable, and finally she hears it. The cry of a raven.	Alexi Noelle & Mountain Sky

Ravencall turns her head towards the wind. She whispers, "Really? Sure!" Her voice carries on the wind. She drinks in air, at first, but seeing he is nowhere near she pricks her ears and waits patiently.	Alexi Noelle & Mountain Sky
