I walk into the stall and clip a lead to Rusty's Halter. I lead him to some cross ties for proper safety. I lightly groom him down to get the loose dirt off his coat. Starting with the Rubber curry comb to get off the loose dirt, Then the Dandy Brush, Then the Body Brush. Then I comb his mane smoothing the rough sides and to remove the matted straw in his mane. Then I work on the tail, Also removing the straw and dirt. After the basic grooming I grab my hoof pick and start to remove the stones in his hoof, and avoiding the frog.

After the grooming session, I begin to tack up. I Place the white saddle pad on Rusty's smooth clean back. Then I place the saddle on attaching the girth and tightening the girth once or twice to make sure the saddle won't come off. Then I grab my new oiled black bridle and place the crown piece very carefully over his head. Then I put the bit into his mouth. It's a D-ring snaffle bit. Then I slip the whole bridle into his head. And flip over the reins over his head. Then I remove the cross-ties and use the bridle as a lead. I lead Rusty into the arena, And close the gate. I mount up into my black matted English boots, tan riding breeches, My Red Hunt/Jump coat, And my black velvet riding hat. I squeeze my heels, and Rusty begins to trot. We pass other riders around the ring, But rusty doesn't mind. We both looked determined while trotting around the ring. I look over to another rider and give her a thumbs up. And continue with the 2nd lap. Then I urge Rusty into a canter, We both canter into a easy pace, Rusty has a calm expression on his face and ready to start jumping. We both canter once again around the ring. While dirt slowly rises above Rusty's Hooves. I pull slightly back on the reins Rusty begins to trot. We carefully trot over the small trotting poles. Rusty's Legs carefully lift up over each one. We now continue to trot, We both encounter the oxer, I focus on the jump gripping on the reins tighter. I lean into the saddle while Rusty soars over the jump, I sit back into the saddle while Rusty lands gracefully over the jump. I turn my reins back to the trotting poles, Rusty once again lifts up his legs after each pole, His legs are now gleaming with sweat. And we both end with the poles. I urge Rusty into a canter we both canter over to the ditch jump. I focus on the jump gripping the reins even tighter. I lean forward into the saddle While rusty soars over the ditch. We land with determination and ready for the next obstacle. I lean forward into the saddle again leading to the stone wall, Rusty flies over the jump with small touch with the hoof. But the obstacle didn't knock over. We land with a graceful stride. and continue with a canter. I slowly pull back on the reins and Rusty begins with a trot we encounter some small log fences. I tighten my grip on the reins one last time I focus on the jump. I lean forward into the saddle while Rusty soars over the jump. I lean back into the saddle once we land. We land with pride. I pull slightly back on the reins and Rusty begins to walk. We walk out of the arena. While I close the gate. I dismount and head back to the barn to untack my horse.

(I'm making my grooming and tacking seperate from my show)

Lady! I can't wait until the show! I know you'll be good. *I slip a halter on my white mare and clip on a lead rope, I lead her to the cross ties and clip them on, I pick up the curry comb, flicking her mane over to the other side, and start to curry her in a circular motion* There are a lot of tranistions, but your good at them. *I finish with her left side and start on her right* And a lot of Jumping, but your good at that too. *I finish with the curry comb and put it back into the grooming kit, I pick up the hard bristled brush and start flicking the dirt over to her rump in short, controlled movements* I have to warm you up too, because we have to trot into the arena, and I don't want you getting a pulled muscle. *I finish and grab the soft brushed brush, swiftly moving it over Lady's coat to remove the fine dust, then I grab the red hoof pick and pick up Lady's hoof, cleaning it out, I continue to the others, then a comb out her mane and tail, braiding them. I tie her tail with a Pink ribbon. I polish her coat with a silk stable cloth, then I grab her white fleece saddle pad and I swing it on, sliding it back a bit to make sure all the fur is down. Then I swing the Black Tree less English saddle on, placing it gently on top of the saddle pad, I attach the girth and pull it over to tie it up. I tickle her belly with my fingers and she lets out the air she sucked in, I tighten the girth, I clip on the breast collar, making sure the girth is centered. Then I attach the martingale to the breast plate. I reach down and put on Lady's black jumping boots and bell boots, then and take off her halter and slip on her bit-less black english bridle with a bit of silver where the bit ends should be to make it look like there is a bit, I attach the martingale to the bridle and put on her pink ear's (ear decoration)* Now you are ready. *I warm her up and wait by the arena*
