eatprayloverun101 & lilly | | 2011-10-17 20:53:31 | | I start Torus at a trot, he tries to snatch his head out of my hands but by nudgeing him quickly with my lower leg he soon lifts his head up into a near-horizontal position. After a few 20 meter circles, concentraiting on if he is falling in or falling out I decide to sit deep in the saddle, put my outside leg behind the girth and my inside leg on the girth before nudging him into canter. He has big lunging strides so I have to sit deep into both the saddle and the stirrups so I can stay still. I then trot again with a quick squeeze of my knees he then runs fast so I tug on the reigns slightly. He then slows to a medium walk around the inside of the arena.
I nod quickly to the instructor to show I have finnished warming up. |
