Julie: *watches as Major flicks his ear toward her. She continues being aggressive, cheered on by this display of trust.* Marian: Wow! I have seen this a hundred times, yet every time even the first bit amazes me. What that ear means is that the horse is telling mom "Wow! How on earth are you speaking my language? I'm surprised. I'm getting sick of running from you, and it's not safe alone anyhow, so I'll see what you have to say." Major:*keeps going with one ear fixed on Julie. He starts to lower his head, but every time Julie makes him turn, and go the other way, or makes him go faster, it shoots high up into the air again(thats what my horse does when I try joining up with him). Marian: Correct, Gemma. When he lowered his head, it meant that he was getting sick of running and he's thinking about being her friend, she keeps him going until he licks and chews, which means "okay. I'll be your partner." Then she turns her back and is no longer aggressive, and he'll come to her and then He'll follow her like a puppy!	Maid Mairain & Dawn Rising

Major:*lowers his head all the way to the ground at a canter, and snatches a few mouthfuls of grass. Then he raises his head til its level with his chest. He starts shaking his head at flies, and chomping his teeth(chewing air).	Danielle Rose & Dandy
