AVALON HORSE FARM EVENTING STABLES
where we compete in eventing and I teach lessons in that category too:)

great POA!!!!
the next class is the hunter under saddle, a class that judges the horse over 4 jumps:)

here is the course, (to be trotted)

you come in and come to a two low verticals about 3 paces apart, then you turn the bend and come up to 1 cross rail and then end over a vertical/cross rail:)

I come into the ring at a walk, then nod at the judge and begin a fluent trot, immediately glancing just slightly, checking my diagonal. I come toward the first fence looking up, Twilight's head is slightly up (not too high, not too low) We go over the first jump very fluently, I check my diagonal, it is still right. I look up toward the next jumping with confidence, three paces, and we go over the second, still on the right diagonal, we come around the arc with Twilight's shoulder up, (using my arena space) my shoulders back, heels down, and a confident smile. I give Twilight a small push (practically invisible) when we enter the next fence, we start going over that jump, I come into a 2-point, then we land and cleared the fence beautifully, with me still being in the right diagonal with wonderful posture, we enter the final jump, beautiful over it, now I invisibly glance at my diagonal one last time. I finish with my courtesy circle, and come down to a walk, still showing my horse, still smiling. I give Twilight a nice pat for being so good, and then walk out.

Katie: I trot Pepsi around before beginning, I say name and then tell the judge I am ready.

I trot Pepsi around then approach the first jump, a vertical, I keep Pepsi at a trot bounce over smoothly, count three paces, come over the second vertical, then turn and come up to the cross-rail rise in a 2 point and sink back down once over the jump, then I neatly clear the vertical/cross-rail and trot around once before bowing to the judge and leaving the arena at a free walk.

Katie: next class is cross-country and here is the course to be performed outside in a large pasture, you will need to dressed in: a helmet with your own color choice cover, your own color choice shirt, tan breeches, black tall boots, and your horse will need to wear the certain color of blanket that will match with your helmet and shirt:)

here is the course:
you come down a slope, over a brush fence, turn to the right, come up to a vertical with a sloped block behind the jump, ride up a slope to a ditch/cross-rail, come to a barrel fence, then up over a tire fence, and end with a oxer with bushes in between and a large vertical with a ditch:)
