Other: Like all our horses he has a Spanish name, but he is named after Zorro. He is our "lead stallion" in our remuda

Skills:A good cow pony
History:His father is the wild rouge stallion "The Phantom" who stole one of our mares. When we captured her in the spring, she had a little tag-a-long!
Other:Named after Zorro's pal who cannot speak. Unfortunately, this Bernardo is little louder. He is constantly whinnying and prancing in front of the mares.

Skills: a fast runner and high jumper
History:Was caught from the wild at the age of about four, we gentled her, but she has only been with us 2 years and I am the only one who can ride her. SHe is not always trustworthy.
Other: My horse! Her name means "free" in spanish.

History:We caught him a year ago and are training him, but he's still quite a little demon.

Eyes: One is bright blue, the other is red. (He can't see out of the red one.)
Height: Short, around 4 ft
Hair: Black with bangs
Skills: Total beginner. Doesn't even know how to care for a horse.
History: His parents are rich, but they never really liked him. Because of this, he's really antisocial and spends most of his free time playing video games. His parents were looking for a camp to send him to, and this was the first one they found.
Other: Wears sunglasses to cover up his different colored eyes.

History: He has ridden horses for all of his life. He was looking for a way to learn even more about horses, so he came here.

History: He was captured and then bought by Sollux's parents. He's literally only been in captivity for a week or so.

History: Equius's trusty steed. Even though she's been in captivity for a while, she still acts like a wild horse.

JumperGal & Jack Frost | | 2013-08-23 00:31:03 | | | Sollux: I sighed as the truck and trailer pulled into the drieway of the horse camp where I would be spending my summer. I don't even like horses! But my parents had insisted on buying me a horse and sending me to this camp, and I couldn't really argue with them. It didn't help that I absolutely HATED the horse that they had bought for me. His name was Ryu, and I was pretty sure that he despised me. On the day that we brought him home, he tried to take a bite out of my arm! The truck stopped, and I hopped out, nearly choking on the scent of horses. The stablehands that my parents had hired for this occasion hopped out as well, then lowered the ramp on the trailer. My horse whinnied and tried to kick one of them. They snapped the lead on him, and then shoved him outside. When he was exposed to the fresh air and sunlight, he totally freaked out. He kicked and bucked, then he reared up. The stable hands quickly shoved the leadrope into my hands. Before I knew what was happening, they drove away. When Ryu saw who was holding his lead, he went totally insane. He ripped the lead out of my hands and headed for the paddock. When he reached the fence, he reared, spun around, and kicked at the wood. I managed to grab the lead without seriously injuring myself. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, so I decided to try and bond with my horse. However, when I put my hand on his shoulder, he whipped his big horsey head around and tried to eat my hand. Yikes. I stepped away from the scary beast and walked into the barn. I found an empty stall and put him in, quickly closing the door behind me. Scared that the horse would somehow escape from the sturdy box, I dashed outside. |
