Sollux: I heard the announcement that we were going to camp out for the night. As I was putting a bag together for the trip, an idea popped into my head. If I ran off in the middle of the night, I wouldn't have to deal with that horse. I'm sure that it can't be that hard to find a main road and follow it to the nearest little town. If I was lucky, I could catch a bus and be back home before sunrise. Yep, that's what I'll do. I smirked as I put the last item into the bag and headed towards the house.
Equius: After making sure that Miki was okay, I dropped my stuff on the porch of the cabin and headed towards the house. Whatever they were cooking, it smelled exquisite. I quickened my pace and arrived at the house. I waved to the kid with the wild horse and he waved back. I had a feeling that we were going to be friends. |
