| Ich verstehe Deutsch besser als ich spreche es. I used to know enough to write full-fledged, about 80 percent accurate conversations in my novels and short stories. Then Duolingo crashed and lost all my data, and I didn't bother getting it back because I was busy with moving to Oklahoma, so I've forgotten a lot of what I've learned. So that first sentence back there is probably incorrect somehow, but it's easier than Welsh, I'll tell you that. How about you? You know much French? And how do you wrap your head around all those weirdly-spelled words? |
