RM: gasps No way.... Riversong: I pause momentarily, taking in the image of the strange she-cat by Shadegaze's side. I purposefully exhale sharply through my nostrils and glance up towards the heavens. "Must I be tormented so?" I look back down at the other cats and my amber eyes narrow. "Get out of my way." Fireblossom: I watch and let Riversong pass "Let him go." Once he is gone, I motion to Shadegaze and Tremor to let me follow him alone, then slink off into the forest, following the mysterious cat. I silently follow only inches behind him. "Riversong." I watch him turn and watch me "Don't worry, I'm alone." I hesitate "Riversong, I'm not tormenting you. I was, but I won't again." my ears go down guiltily "I justâ€¦. I wanted to be cool. Like Shadegaze. I am a warrior nowâ€¦. I guess I just wasn't used to doing things by myself, without your guidance." I raise my bright eyes from the ground to Riversong's gaze, my pupils big and guilty. I turn, and begin walking away. RM-falls to her knees, overcome with mental fatigue It's too much! Too. . .much. . .falls face-down on the ground while an orchestra strikes a dramatic chord Shadegaze-she glares at Fireblossom, feeling an uncharacteristic spike of jealousy blossom in her heart as the she-cat returns. Quickly she makes her expression neutral and glances at Tremor before ducking her head and walking determinedly past Fireblossom, reaching the place where Riversong still stands. She stations herself in front of him and stares into his deep, solemn eyes Look, before you run off again, and before you start accusing me of tormenting you, just let me say that I have no idea what's going on with you, but you can trust me. Honestly, I'm your medicine cat. You don't have to keep all these secrets. as she speaks, a heavy weight fills her heart and the distinct feeling that she is going against her own words makes her whiskers tremble You can tell me anything, I promise, and I'll never tell a soul. she exhales sharply and turns away, her shoulders hunched and the strip of fur along her spine bristling	Nat2 & The Price of Valor

Riversong: Without another word I slink past the she-cats, my face unreadable. I walk on for a while, well aware that Fireblossom is following me. I flinch when she begins talking and turn to her, my irises flashing. I stare after her when she begins walking away and sigh. I don't say anything to her and continue on my path. RM: Wait, what were we talking about again? scratching head in confusion Riversong: I fling to a stop and whirl to Shadegaze, eyes burning like a wildfire. But as she speaks my eyes soften but remain guarded. For a long while I say nothing, trying to regain my composure. "Even if I told you, you wouldn't believe me. Secrets are kept for a reason...so no one else will know." I step closer, a different kind of vigor enlightening my face. "Secrets are beautiful, treasured, a mystery only its keeper knows and loves. But when a secret is shared it loses a little beauty; it lacks its treasure. So...please...let me have this one secret." My voice loses its gravelly tonality and stretches in a soothing, peaceful note. I turn and, without another word, disappear behind a grove of trees.	Horsesforever12 & Jedi

Fireblossom: I walk to Tremor's side and watch. After Riversong is gone, I walk over to Shadegaze. "Maybeâ€¦ Maybe he's right, Shade. Secrets are kept for a reasonâ€¦. I'm not going to push him to say his." I hesitate, my voice quavering unsurely, but I turn and walk back to camp. Although I yearn to know his thoughts, his secrets- I push myself to remain patient and respectful of my former mentor. I feel Tremor and Shadegaze not far behind me, probably watching me as I walk away.	Roncy & Bertone

RM-Sorry, been gone a couple days. . .I think the reason for your two "buts" is because you are very efficient. Shadegaze-she stands there a long time, staring at the ground, her heartbeat echoing dully in her ears, each breath a monotonous, necessary disruption in the heavy veil of silence around her. She feels rather than sees Tremor silently walking away, and her legs give out. She collapses into a sitting position, a million thoughts running through her head in a confused stream of colors and sounds	Nat2 & The Price of Valor
