There's a difference between being cruel with crops and spurs and using them to aid your leg. Some horses won't go without a little push, which is what the crop and spur are. Then there's the other people who use spurs and open their horses side up "training" them for western pleasure. Just to make the horse go slow. There are other cruel forms of "training" that i've seen at my barn, but those are just one of them. | mybuety & Pressed |

I like Clinton anderson better for I don't understand Pat perreli very well and he uses alot of tools were Clinton is easier to understand and he use a lead rope and halter or every thing and pressure points for the rest. | Golden swallow & Bow tie |

Sad. Even professional horse trainers do make mistakes sometimes. Forcing a head-shy horse was the wrong thing to do.
I'm always on the side of the horse. He was not in that instance. | Jane Crandal & JB |

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing, but yeah, i saw something on parelli forcing a bridle on a head shy horse. | mybuety & Pressed |

plus you should take such a horse into an aerna and force him to do things for the first time for a time limit. | Golden swallow & Bow tie |

I know, he does force head-shy horses. But he doesn't do anything else that a horse wouldn't do. | arabluv & teapot |
