I've never been to NYC. Texas and Oklahoma are about it for me. . .
Incidentally, would y'all like to hear some irony? We moved up from the Texas Gulf Coast to get away from hurricanes, and yet Hurricane Gordon is going to totally bypass Texas except for one little eastern corner and hit Oklahoma. It won't technically be a hurricane, but it'll still be a tropical depression. I thought all we would have to worry about up here is tornadoes, but apparently not. | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

W.O.W. I live in Alberta Canada (We do NOT say EH) and we never have to worry about tornadoes, hurricanes, or fires. But this year the smoke was terrible! You couldn't see more than about 10 yards. The weather app said visibility was 2.3. The only thing we have to worry about is snow. Lots and LOTS of snow. XD
BTW NYC was great! But really hot! | SWC & Starsight |

Hahaha, if you think NYC was hot. Just, wait till you have the chance to visit somewhere like Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Texas, etc. It's September and it was like 98 degrees the other day, where I live in Georgia! What I would give to live in Canada or Alaska.....XD | GodHorsesAmerica & Pocket Full of Sunshine |

Ugh, snow. I've had one winter up here in Faux-klahoma and I HATED IT. THERE WAS NOTHING BUT SNOW AND COLD AND MORE SNOW. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE. AHEm. Moving on.
I love hot places--on the Texas coast the average spring/summer/early fall temperature is 95 to 98, and that's with 100 percent humidity. In Oklahoma the temperature reaches 98 degrees and everyone begins panicking and running around like headless chickens. It gets even worse when the humidity reaches "oppressive levels" (to quote the weatherman) of, say, 40 percent. Then everyone is positive we're ALL GOING TO DIE except the people who are from places where it actually gets hot. . .
I must be part lizard or something--I adore it when it's hot and wet and I can't stand it when it's dry. I think I'd do well in the rainforests of Brazil. | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

I'm the Goldielocks of heat. For it has to be about 19 to 27 degrees. Celsius. I've gone to Florida, Hawaii, and LA. ALL WHEN THERE WAS A HEAT WAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | SWC & Starsight |

All my life I have wanted to visit Alaska. Don't know why, just have. I guess it's like one of those bucket list things. I truthfully really want to go to Alaska and see the Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights. I know it's freezing cold, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do!XD | GodHorsesAmerica & Pocket Full of Sunshine |
